Working as a summer intern at Billerud provides you with great opportunities to gain valuable experience. At Billerud, we offer you the chance to work in an innovative and exciting environment while contributing to a sustainable tomorrow together with others.

We are looking for you who want to work with us during the summer of 2026. We offer summer jobs between May and August and can adjust the start and end dates according to studies or similar. Please indicate your availability in your application. Working hours are scheduled for 6-shift or daytime – please specify which you are most interested in.

As a summer substitute, you are an important part of the team and work together with your colleagues to achieve our goals. The tasks vary depending on the department but may include:

• Operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in our production facilities
• Packing and finishing rolls
• Breaking down scrap rolls
• Working in the roll machine

You will actively participate in our daily work. We set high goals and constantly strive to improve and get better.

Qualifications

• Completed or ongoing high school education with passing grades
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license (B)
• Must be at least 18 years old

It is an advantage if you:

• Have a technical interest in the process industry
• Have forklift and/or overhead crane certification and driving experience
• Can work the entire summer period

If you do not have a forklift license, you will receive training through us. For certain positions, previous experience as an operator in the industry is an advantage.

Personal qualities

The position is largely based on teamwork, which means you find it easy to collaborate, are respectful, and open to dialogue. As a person, you should be practical, responsible, flexible, and have a clear safety mindset. We value a strong commitment and a willingness to learn new things.
